Middleborough Gas and Electric adds new rebates and increased rebates for low income customers

The revised rebates, which are available starting August 1, 2023 include new rebates for select Energy Star-rated appliances (air conditioners, dehumidifiers, room air purifiers) and increased rebates for low income customers. Low income customers include families that qualify for heating assistance or that are participating in one or more low income assistance programs, such as SSI, Mass Health, SNAP, WIC, and Veterans services. Low income families also can now qualify for a discounted MGED rates on their gas and electric.
